The enhancing of women’s participation in general and her utilization of new communication technology means for the purposes of justice and equality, based on the published recommendations of the World Summit (Phase II in particular), and the backing of His Excellency the President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali.
 It is recommended that the forum discusses the place of women in the globalized communication space, the perspectives, and the role of the new means of communication in the consolidation of women's rights and their presence in the political and economic levels. The discussion could be organized in the following interactive sessions:

Session 1: “Women in the globalized communication space: notions, dimensions, and challenges".

- The communication space and its role in empowering women and supporting her participation in the political and economic life.
